"And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in toil shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; in the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.” – Genesis 3: 17, 19

Story about a boy who at the age of 23 concluded he had a task: blow up the world. Why and how? That’s what the performance is all about. He turns his years, like pages of a tiny picture book, over one by one. And he’s excited to walk us through time, as in some kind of investigation. It turns out (?) that he is a Chosen One (?) whose bespoke obligation is to suffer (!) in life. Tragic and ridiculous situations and scenes come to life in front of us. Theater pushes its own boundaries: epic and micro-realist, absurd and naturalist, entertaining with music/dance and surrealist in the same time. He feels like telling us an opinion but he’s hesitating. He’s looking for answers, and tries to learn the lessons with a self-effacing sense of humor. So, let’s see how the last 20 years were for me! We can see here a family choking on secrecies, more and more older “masters” seeking their place and duties in the world, and young people fledging in a rather irresponsible way. A stupidly tragic and tragically stupid world. Where everything and everyone use air quotes in order to save their life, whilst silently dying out. And in the middle or at the edge of everything there is a teeny-weeny, well-known anti-hero who is not given a repreive: he must live!
